Lucy and Brian met in San Diego and spent five years together before Brian asked Lucy to marry him. He decided to ask her at the top of the Heavenly Mountain Resort, in Tahoe, where they can often be found skiing together. For their wedding, however, they decided to go with the sun and surf of San Clemente…
Casino San Clemente-
The wedding took place at Casino San Clemente, which was the perfect venue for their outdoor wedding/ indoor reception and all with a vintage twist. Casino San Clemente was built in 1937 and designed after a well-known dance hall in Catalina. Lucy and Brian’s colors were a classic arrangement of ivory, grey, and rich wine tones. Their inspiration was rooted in the casino’s rustic Spanish architecture.
The bride decided on a dress designed by “Essence of Australia” and all of the flower arrangements were created by Amanda Heer of “Fantasy floral designs.” The wedding coordinator was Alexandra Armstrong, the wedding cake was sculpted by The Magnolia Bakery, and the catering was conducted by Jay’s Catering. Every single one of their vendors was aware, quick on their feet, and all of their designs were impeccable. Our favorite features of the wedding would have to be the Mariachi band that played during their reception and the giant piñata that was presented to them, just before dinner… it was definitely a fun wedding.
