This little man’s name is Landon, who graced our studio last week for his very first portrait/headshot session. These portraits were intended to be a gift for his mom on her birthday. However, they would also be a great way to send praise to mom for Mother’s Day. Landon’s mom is an amazing woman. She works hard and she’s a great mother. It shows in Landon’s eyes, each and every time you ask him about her. At the shoot, I asked him to tell the lens how much he loved his mom and that turned out to be one of our favorite shots (the first shot below). “I love you mamma,” he generously whispered, as his eyes danced and his body became a cute collection of cuddles.
I knew this shoot would be special for her and I knew Landon would have no problem showing his love for his mom on-camera. He was a natural. It took him two minutes to warm up before the love and personality came oozing from him. In fact, we were able to capture this first look in just ten minutes, not bad for his first portrait session. And mom walked away with two framed prints… Well done Landon.
